In a bizarre incident that has become the talk of the village, a man in Kenya was forced to return Ksh 100 he had stolen after a snake reportedly followed him into his own home, sparking fear and confusion among his household.

According to sources familiar with the situation, the suspect took the money from a neighbour’s table late one night and sneaked back to his home hoping to avoid detection. 

However, moments after entering, a snake slithered in right behind him, causing him to panic. Villagers later said the snake appeared suddenly and would not leave his side, moving around him as he tried to hide.

Terrified and convinced that the reptile was sent to punish him for the theft, he ran back out—still being trailed by the snake—and returned the stolen Ksh 100 to the neighbour with his hands shaking.
