In a brief but provocative social media post Amisi challenged Thuku's political position jokingly asking whether he was acting as a political insider working against the opposition's interests.
The legislator then made a bold proposal arguing that opposition leaders should unite behind Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as a presidential candidate.
According to Amisi, if former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka were genuinely committed to political change they should support Sifuna's presidential bid rather than pursuing individual ambitions.
