Heavy Rainfall and Possible Flooding Are Expected in Many Parts of Kenya Starting on This Date

The Kenya Meteorological Department has released its  parts of the country are expected to remain generally dry, several counties could continue receiving rainfall up to Monday, June 22. 

The forecast highlights changing weather patterns that residents should closely monitor, especially in regions prone to intermittent showers and cold conditions.

According to the weather outlook, rainfall is expected in parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, sections of the Coast region, and some northeastern counties. Residents in these areas have been advised to remain alert as occasional showers may disrupt normal activities, particularly in the afternoons and evenings.

The forecast further indicates that cool and cloudy conditions are likely to persist in parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Southeastern Lowlands, sections of the Rift Valley, and northeastern Kenya. These conditions could lead to chilly mornings and evenings, especially in elevated areas.
