JUST IN: Wrangles Deepens in Oburu's Led ODM as Junet Kicks Vocal MP Out of Party's Whatsapp Group

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has sparked fresh debate within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) after publicly expressing frustration over what he describes as exclusion from key party activities despite making regular financial contributions.

In a statement that has attracted widespread attention, Amisi claimed that he was removed from an ODM WhatsApp group by Junet Mohammed and has since been left uninformed about crucial meetings and internal deliberations. 

The outspoken legislator further alleged that KSh20,000 continues to be deducted from his salary every month for party activities, even as he remains sidelined.

According to Amisi, the funds contributed by ODM elected leaders help finance party rallies and operations across the country. 

His remarks have raised questions about internal communication, inclusivity, and leadership dynamics within the Raila Odinga-led party.

The comments come at a time when ODM is navigating shifting political alliances and managing differing views among its members following recent political developments. 

Amisi has on several occasions taken positions that differ from sections of the party leadership, making him one of the most independent voices within ODM ranks.

While ODM officials are yet to respond publicly to the claims, Amisi’s revelations are likely to fuel discussions about transparency, internal democracy, and the treatment of dissenting voices within one of Kenya’s largest political parties.
