A viral video circulating on social media has sparked outrage in Kenya after a Grade 10 schoolgirl alleged that her mother forced her out of their home late at night so she could host a male visitor.

The clip, which has been widely shared, shows the teenager visibly distressed as she narrates the incident and appeals for understanding.

According to the girl, her mother, identified in online discussions as Angela from Kayole, Nairobi, allegedly told her to leave the house because she was expecting a man for a private visit.

The teenager recalled her mother’s words, saying: “Mimi leo usiku niko na mwanaume, tafuta penye utalala.”

She further claimed she was left stranded and confused outside their small single-room home for hours, unsure where to go as night fell.
