“I was stressed every day,” Mercy recalls. “I trusted the people around me, but my business was collapsing before my eyes. No matter how hard I worked, things kept getting worse.”
According to Mercy, some of her workers began behaving strangely. They constantly argued, created tension among staff, and failed to cooperate with her instructions. Some customers complained about poor service while others claimed they felt unwelcome in the shop.
“I later realized some employees secretly disliked me,” she says. “Instead of helping the business grow, they wanted to see me fail.”
