Uhuru Mocks Ruto in Mt Kenya, Jokes What He's Been Doing When Wife Can't Bear Kids.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has appeared to take an indirect swipe at his successor, William Ruto, accusing the current administration of constantly shifting blame for its shortcomings to previous governments, including his own.

Uhuru argued that Kenya Kwanza leaders are too focused on the past instead of concentrating on the country’s future and development.

Using a driving analogy to explain his leadership philosophy, Uhuru said leaders should focus on the road ahead rather than constantly checking the rearview mirror. 

According to him, effective leadership requires vision, direction, and the ability to guide the nation through challenges while staying focused on the future.

Speaking in Kipipiri, Nyandarua County, Uhuru wished the current administration well but advised leaders to prioritize solving present-day problems instead of dwelling on past administrations.

He stated that leadership is like holding a steering wheel, where a good leader keeps their eyes fixed ahead rather than repeatedly looking back at where they have come from.

Uhuru also criticized the culture of blame-shifting, saying it does little to help the country move forward. 

In a light-hearted jab, he joked that the current administration blames him for nearly everything, even humorously suggesting they could one day fault him for family infertility issues.

He remarked that whenever leaders fail to deliver on their responsibilities, they often resort to blaming the previous administration instead of addressing the real issues.
