Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has praised President William Ruto’s administration, saying it has achieved more in sports infrastructure development within three years than any other government since independence.
Murkomen argued that no Kenyan president since 1963 has overseen the construction and upgrading of sports facilities at the scale currently being witnessed under President William Ruto.
He noted that ongoing projects across the country reflect a renewed focus on nurturing talent and improving sports standards nationally.
According to him, the government has invested heavily in stadium renovation, training centres, and grassroots sports facilities aimed at supporting young athletes.
