If Boyd Were Beats Me, I Will Support Him, " Aroko Says As He Calls For Peace, Restraint In Kasipul

While addressing the media at the political rally in Homabay over yesterday's chaos witnessed in Kasipul, aspirant Aroko called for peace and more restraint.

There are those who were murdered yesterday in the chaos that saw supporters from both sides clash.

After that, both leaders came out to claim not guilty, before the two were summoned at the County commissioner office in Homabay town today.

Mr Philip Aroko said that what they need at the moment is peace, and that both leaders should practice restraint, with their people.

He went on to say that Kasipul is for all, and Kasipul should remain even after the elections. 

That he is willing to support Boyd Were and let him work if he is elected.

He also called on Were to also support him, incase he emerges the winner.

The elections are set for later this month, and tension is already building.

 Were is seeking to succeed his father, while Aroko is aiming to take over having lost in 2022.
