According to witnesses, the man is believed to have sneaked into a residential compound under the cover of darkness with the intention of stealing a parked vehicle. Unaware of the danger nearby, he reportedly tampered with the car before disturbing a beehive located within the compound.
Moments later, a swarm of aggressive bees descended on him, stinging him repeatedly. His cries for help were heard by neighbours, but by the time people responded, the situation had already escalated beyond control.
Residents said the man tried to flee but collapsed a short distance away, overwhelmed by the attack. Some neighbours attempted to help but were forced to keep their distance due to the intensity of the swarm.
