"Ruto Is A Brutal Dictator We Must Remove Him From Office 2027" Claims Outspoken Mt Kenya Politician

Meru lawmaker Brian Mutiga has urged Kenyans to unite and push President William Ruto out of office, claiming the Head of State misled voters during the 2022 elections when he succeeded former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Mutiga, who actively campaigned for UDA in 2022, said he initially backed Ruto because he believed he was the most suitable candidate for the presidency. However, he now says supporting him was a major mistake.

In a post shared on X, the youthful legislator described Ruto as a “harsh dictator” and accused him of surrendering Kenya’s independence to foreign lenders such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“Kenyans voted for President Ruto because they believed in UDA’s promises, policies, and vision. But with time, they realized those promises existed only on paper and not in the hearts or intentions of the leaders,” Mutiga said.

He further claimed that many citizens are frustrated and disappointed with the current administration, arguing that Kenyans want a leader who is compassionate, understanding, and attentive to their struggles.

“President Ruto is ruling like a dictator, and Kenyans should remove him from power,” he stated.

“When people voted for Kenya Kwanza, they hoped the country would become economically independent, but instead Kenya is now being controlled by institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank.”

Mutiga also warned that the country risks economic and political decline if the current leadership continues on the same path, saying Kenya could end up like Libya or Zimbabwe.

The former Kianjai Ward MCA aspirant further declared his continued support for ODM leader Raila Odinga, expressing hope that Raila regains enough strength and energy to challenge Ruto in the 2027 General Election.

“The 2027 election will affect every Kenyan directly. I hope Raila Odinga recovers fully, ODM reorganizes itself, and Kenyans refuse to be deceived again. According to Mutiga, President Ruto should only serve one term,” he said.
