Embarrassing Moment for Mombasa Governor After Iddah Odinga Refused His Request Infront of Camera

A moment involving senior leaders at a major international event in Mombasa has sparked widespread reactions online after a video clip captured an unexpected interaction during an entertainment session.

The clip was recorded during the 11th Our Ocean Conference held in Mombasa. The global conference brought together leaders, policymakers, scientists and stakeholders to discuss ocean conservation, climate action and the sustainable Blue Economy.

Kenya became the first African country to host the conference, which ran from June 16 to June 18 under the theme “Our Ocean, Our Heritage, Our Future.”

In the video, leaders including William Ruto, Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir, Ali Hassan Joho and Iddah Odinga were seen enjoying music and dancing as part of the event's entertainment activities.

At one point, Governor Abdulswamad approached Iddah Odinga and invited her to dance. The governor briefly held her hand and appeared to encourage her to make a spin while dancing. However, Mrs. Odinga politely declined the move and continued dancing in her own style.
