"I Have Forgiven Them" Utumishi Academy Survivor Whose Mother Died in a Road Crash Breaks Silence

A student at Utumishi Girls Senior School is grappling with a heartbreaking double tragedy after losing her mother, Faith Kosgei, in a road accident while she was travelling to check on her daughter following the devastating school fire.

Speaking through tears, the student said no punishment handed to those responsible would ever be enough to make up for the pain of losing her mother. She described the loss as unbearable, saying her family had been shattered by an event they never saw coming.

Faith's Daughter said that her mother taught her forgiveness and therefore she has forgiven the suspects.

Faith Kosgei was reportedly rushing to the school after learning about the fire incident, anxious to confirm that her daughter was safe.

Tragically, she never made it. She died in a road accident while on her way, leaving behind a grieving family and a daughter struggling to come to terms with the loss.

The student's emotional remarks have touched many Kenyans, with messages of sympathy and support pouring in from across the country.

Her story has become one of the most painful accounts linked to the Utumishi Girls tragedy, highlighting the far-reaching impact of the incident beyond the school community.

As investigations into the fire continue, the family is left mourning a mother whose final journey was driven by concern and love for her child. For the young student, the loss is one that words cannot adequately describe, and one she says no form of punishment can ever compensate.

Faith Kosgei's death has added another layer of sorrow to an already devastating tragedy, leaving many reflecting on the painful consequences that have followed the fire.
