The entrepreneur, identified as 37-year-old Brian Ochieng, said life once felt hopeless after countless employers allegedly turned down his job applications despite his determination to build a better future.

According to Brian, he spent years moving from one office to another carrying copies of his curriculum vitae, hoping for an opportunity that never seemed to come.

“There was a time I felt completely defeated,” he recalled. “I applied for jobs everywhere, attended interviews, and waited for calls that never came.”

Brian explained that after completing college, he expected life to improve quickly.

Instead, he says reality hit hard.

Months turned into years as applications allegedly went unanswered, while financial responsibilities at home continued piling up.

“At one point, I almost gave up,” he admitted. “Friends were progressing in life while I still depended on small casual jobs to survive.”

According to him, repeated rejection began affecting his confidence.

He claims some employers told him he lacked experience, while others simply never responded after interviews.

“You start questioning yourself,” Brian explained. “You wonder if maybe you are not good enough.”

Faced with mounting pressure, Brian says he decided to rethink his approach instead of waiting endlessly for employment.

Rather than continuing to depend solely on job applications, he began researching opportunities in entrepreneurship and government procurement.

“I realized I had been chasing only one path,” he said. “I started asking myself whether there were other opportunities I had ignored.”

According to Brian, the strategy that allegedly changed everything involved learning about government tenders, networking with experienced business owners, and developing practical skills around proposal writing and business registration.

“I stopped waiting for opportunities and started preparing for them,” he claimed.

He says he spent months studying procurement processes, attending seminars, and speaking to people already working in supply businesses.
