"No Amount of Arrests & Abductions Will Save Ruto" Mwangi Now Declares Amid the Following Incident

Activist Boniface Mwangi has launched a fierce attack on President William Ruto following reports that armed men allegedly attempted to abduct Standard Group Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich in Nakuru on Saturday morning.

The incident reportedly occurred just days after President Ruto publicly criticized the media house over its news coverage, triggering fresh debate over media freedom and political intimidation.

Reacting through his social media platforms, Mwangi accused the government of escalating attacks against critical voices, claiming journalists and government critics are increasingly becoming targets.

In a strongly worded statement, he branded President Ruto as the "Abductor-in-Chief," alleging that the administration was determined to silence anyone speaking against those in power.

"Ruto knows deep in his heart that he will lose the 2027 elections. He has decided that anyone who speaks truth to power must be stopped," Mwangi stated.

The activist further argued that intimidation tactics would not rescue the administration from public scrutiny. "No amount of intimidation, arrests, abductions, or even assassinations will save Ruto," he added.
