Pastor Ezekiel Odero on Wednesday made a striking statement during a church service, asserting that he had foreseen the current wave of unrest in Kenya through earlier prophecies.
Addressing congregants, the preacher recalled warning Kenyans against disrespecting former President Uhuru Kenyatta, insisting that the predictions he had previously shared had since come to pass.
He lamented that many people ignored his earlier cautions and urged the public to pay closer attention to his message this time. Speaking in Swahili, Pastor Ezekiel said:
"Niliwaambia mtajuta kutukana Uhuru hamukuskia. Nikawaambia baada ya uchaguzi kutalipuka maandamano hamukuskia. Sasa nawaambia kuna jambo baya linakuja zaidi ya maandamano, lakini linaweza kuepukika tukiwa na unyenyekevu."
According to the pastor, Kenya could soon face a challenge even more serious than the ongoing demonstrations unless the nation embraces humility and takes corrective action.
His remarks served as both a warning and an appeal for reflection, urging citizens and leaders alike to consider the country's current situation and work toward preventing further instability.
The message resonated strongly with many of his followers, who viewed it as an expression of concern for the nation's future. Pastor Ezekiel emphasized that the looming danger could still be avoided if Kenyans heed the warning and adopt a more humble and united approach.
