"Removing Ruto Is Not Enough" Maraga Reveals What They Should Uproot First With Ruto Before 2027

The presidential candidate of the United Green Movement (UGM), David Maraga, has called on opposition parties to unite on the basis of ethics, the rule of law, and respect for the Constitution.

Speaking during his State of the Nation address at Ufungamano House in Nairobi, said that Kenya needs a fresh start to tackle corruption, economic decline, and the collapse of public institutions.

The former Chief Justice said the 2027 general election would be decisive for the country's future.

“I believe in opposition unity, but that unity must be built on principles and not on the pursuit of power.
