"You Fooled Us" Mt Kenya Leaders Make A U Turn On Ruto As They Tell Him This

President William Ruto has come under criticism from some leaders in the Mount Kenya region, who accuse him of misleading them during the election campaigns.

In a video that recently went viral online, several leaders expressed disappointment with the President, claiming that many of the promises he made to the region have not been fulfilled.

The leaders argued that they had trusted Ruto's campaign message but now feel deceived. According to one speaker, the period they had given the President to deliver on his pledges has already expired, and they no longer have confidence in his leadership.

They also criticized plans involving land in Ruai that had been reserved for the construction of a sewage treatment facility, alleging that the government was interfering with property that had been set aside for public benefit.

The leaders further accused the administration of mismanaging public resources and prioritizing personal interests over the needs of citizens.

One of the speakers claimed that former President Uhuru Kenyatta had earmarked the land to serve Nairobi residents and warned that altering its intended use could negatively affect the area.

In a strongly worded statement, the leader suggested that President Ruto should focus on selling State House instead, arguing that he does not fully utilize the residence.

It is worth noting that President Ruto received overwhelming support from the Mount Kenya region during the 2022 General Election, helping secure his victory.

However, some residents and leaders now say they regret backing him, insisting that the promises made during the campaign have not matched the reality of his administration.
