Who Ruto Plans To Pick To Be The Next CDF From Kenya Army,

Governor for Trans Nzoia County H.E. George Natembeya, alleged that President William Ruto has already spotted someone in the Kenya .

Defense Forces (KDF) from Kenya Army that is, to be the next Chief Of Defense Forces (CDF), taking over from the current CDF, General Charles Kahariri when he retires.

According to Natembeya, Ruto has prepared someone in the Kenya Army whom according to him, he is someone who comes from Kalenjin community same as Ruto. 

To Natembeya, the head of state wants to have full control of the Kenya Defense Forces as he plans to rule Kenya for another five years. 

He said, this is a plan that Ruto is using to secure his leadership if he would be elected again as the President to serve for another term.

In a video which was streamed live on his official Facebook page, the Trans Nzoia County boss went ahead and slammed Ruto for sideling the Luhya Community .

Especially on the appointments to top positions in the Kenya Defense Forces and the Police. 

Natembeya lost his cool and said it is very unfortunate that for so many years, there's no anyone from the Luhya Community that has ever been considered suitable to hold such positions.

Natembeya made this statement while campgaining for Seth Panyako to be the next Member of Parliament for Malava Constituency, Kakamega County in the planned By-elections slated for 27th November, 2025. 

He used that opportunity to urge the people of Malava to vote for Panyako on grounds that he is the best candidate who has interests of his people at heart.

Additionally, the Honorable Governor further said, he wants to prove to the Government of the day that he is the next Luhya kingpin by winning the Malava Seat through Seth Panyako who is vying on DAP-K ticket.
