Lawyer Wahome Thuku has sparked fresh debate after alleging that several politicians, including those linked to the opposition, are secretly in contact with leaders in President William Ruto’s government.
In a statement that has since attracted attention online, Thuku claimed that when certain leaders need assistance within government, they allegedly reach out to key figures allied to the President.

Thuku further alleged that Kaba Methu also reaches out to Ichung’wah when in need of support, while some opposition affiliated MPs are said to contact Betty Maina for similar assistance.
The lawyer further claimed that Kalonzo Musyoka is in regular communication with President Ruto, alleging that the two speak frequently despite their perceived political differences.
These claims, though unverified, have stirred mixed reactions among Kenyans online, with some expressing surprise at the alleged behind the scenes interactions while others dismissed the remarks as political rhetoric.
The allegations highlight the often complex and sometimes hidden relationships within Kenyan politics, where public rivalry may not always reflect private engagements between leaders.
