According to Ahmednasir, he met his wife after returning to Kenya from the United States where he had been studying. Their relationship grew and they eventually married. After the birth of their first child, she traveled to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education at Middlesex University, where she graduated with a First Class degree in IT.
After completing her studies, she returned to Kenya. However, Ahmednasir asked her to work from home so that someone could be present to manage family responsibilities.
