"I'm Ready for a DNA Test" – Muhoozi Fires Back at Ugandans Questioning If He's Museveni's Son

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces in Uganda, has strongly warned those spreading false claims that he is not of Ugandan origin but from Rwanda.

Taking the matter to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the CDF called out all the netizens that accuse him of being a Munyarwanda and not a true Ugandan-born.

He called them ignorant and went on to say that they do not know his family well. He claimed that having close ties to former great Rwandan leaders such as Fred Rwigyema does not conclude that he is from Rwanda.

"Ugandans who accuse me of being a Munyarwanda don't know our family. Actually, I and the late Fred Rwigyema are the calmest people in this family," he noted.

He also addressed another section of Ugandans who claimed that his behaviours and character definitely matched a typical Rwandan.

To some, Muhoozi's cruelty and harshness raise questions about whether he is the true son of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is a bit much calmer.

"I saw someone the other day saying that I'm definitely a Munyarwanda and can't be Mzee Museveni's son. Ngu, that I'm too angry to be Mzee's son," he stated.

However, Muhoozi went on to make it clear that if anyone wants a DNA test to prove that he is the son of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, he is ready to do it.

It is not news that the relationship between Rwanda's President Paul Kagame and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been a long one that started way back during Museveni's bush war times.

Great Rwandan key personalities such as the late Fred Rwigyema and the current president, Paul Kagame, fought alongside Museveni during the guerrilla war that saw him take power.

Due to the strong ties between the two nations, many have tried to bring claims that some people from the first family are not of Ugandan origin.
