Saying Wantam Won't Save Only If You Become DCP Organising Secretary, Moses Kuria Tells Ndindi Nyoro

Close ally of President William Ruto, Moses Kuria, has launched a fresh attack on Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, claiming the former Budget and Appropriations Committee chair has fallen into a political trap allegedly orchestrated by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

In a strongly worded post on his official social media account on Saturday, June 27, Kuria said he had previously warned Nyoro about his political association with Gachagua, arguing that recent events had vindicated his concerns.

"My brother Ndindi Nyoro, I warned you. Rigathi will finish you. He has you where he wanted," Kuria wrote.

Kuria's remarks appeared to reference Nyoro's earlier media briefing, which has sparked widespread political debate, particularly among leaders aligned with President William Ruto and those associated with Gachagua's Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP).

According to Kuria, Nyoro's political future would be severely limited if he continued on his current path. He claimed that even the "Wantam" political movement would not rescue the Kiharu MP unless he accepted a junior role within the DCP.

"Today even saying Wantam will not save you unless you limit your ambitions to being Organising Secretary of DCP Kiharu Branch and your boss will be one General Kifeeti," Kuria stated.

The close Ruto ally went on to suggest that Nyoro now faces two equally difficult political outcomes, insisting that his ambitions had effectively been curtailed.

"Either you are finished completely or you are completely finished! What a sad day for our modern-day Matiba. Pole sana. At least I warned you," he added.

Kuria's comments add to the growing political exchanges surrounding Nyoro following his latest public statements, with several leaders from both the Kenya Kwanza camp and the opposition weighing in on the Kiharu MP's political direction.

The remarks also underscore the deepening divisions within Mt. Kenya politics, where rival camps continue to battle for influence ahead of the 2027 General Election. Nyoro has yet to publicly respond to Kuria's latest criticism.
