Ndindi Nyoro Alleges Reasons Why Ruto Stands No Chance to be Re-elected in 2027

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has emerged as one of the most vocal critics of President William Ruto, insisting the incumbent stands no realistic chance of securing a second term in 2027.

Once a key Kenya Kwanza ally and former Budget Committee chair, Nyoro quit the ruling UDA party in August 2026, took leadership of the People’s Party of Kenya (PPK), and declared the President “Kenya’s number one enemy.”

Nyoro’s central argument is that the administration has comprehensively failed to deliver on the hustler promises that propelled it to power. 

He points to unfulfilled pledges on affordable education, accessible healthcare, job creation for the youth, and sustainable economic management.
