Friday, September 11, 2026 - Prominent city businessman Kevin Hungai Amuhinda, the proprietor of Cavalli Lounge, a high-end entertainment joint in Westlands, has died under mysterious circumstances, with reports emerging that he might have taken his own life.

Kevin’s body was discovered in his lavish house after he failed to pick up calls.

His close friends and business associates reported the matter to the police, and after breaking into the house, his body was discovered.

The body had started decomposing.

While the cause of his death remains under investigation, it is reported that before his death, he had been struggling with personal problems, including a failed marriage.

Besides running one of the most popular clubs in Nairobi, Kevin was a software engineer and start-up investor.

His staff members have mourned him, describing him as a jovial man full of energy.

Kevin’s death comes at a time when suicide cases are on the rise in the country.
