Speaking during the final day of the five-day Christian gathering on Friday, September 4, Ruto recalled being informed that there had been an “invasion” at the Office of the President.
What initially sounded like a security incident, however, turned out to have a very different explanation.
According to Ruto, the people involved were prayer warriors.
“Yesterday somebody walked to me and said, sir, there is an invasion in the Office of the President, and later I discovered it was an invasion by prayer warriors,” the President told worshippers.
