In a statement shared on his official X account, Kipkorir said many of the people now loudly praising Ruto were the same ones who supported Raila during his five unsuccessful presidential campaigns.
“The loudest people now cheering President William Ruto are the same ones who cheered on and lied to Baba Raila Odinga to FIVE PRESIDENTIAL LOSSES!” Kipkorir said.

“They lied to Baba FIVE TIMES and on falsehood and hanging on his coattails got elected Governors, Senators, MPs and MCAs!” he stated.
Kipkorir said it was hypocritical for the same individuals who once praised Raila to suddenly shift their loyalty to President Ruto.
“Now from praising Baba, they have changed to the President!” he said.
The lawyer also quoted American statesman Benjamin Franklin, saying: “A false friend and a shadow attend only while the sun shines.”
