Former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya has opened up about his experience reuniting with his ex-girlfriend, Georgina Njenga, while taking part in the second season of Showmax's reality dating show Take Me Home.WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
Tyler and Georgina were once one of Kenya's most popular young couples. The two began dating in 2020 and later welcomed a child together in 2022. However, their relationship faced challenges and they eventually went their separate ways in 2023.
Their reunion on the reality show created an interesting situation because they were forced to spend time together while dealing with their past relationship and their new lives.
Speaking about joining the show, Tyler said he was surprised when he received the invitation. He admitted that the idea of living in the same resort with his former girlfriend initially felt uncomfortable.WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
He explained that things became even more awkward because Georgina was also trying to manage her relationship with her current partner while Tyler was around.
According to Tyler, he did not join the programme hoping to get back together with Georgina. Instead, he wanted to improve their relationship for the sake of their child.

The actor also said the experience helped him understand himself better. He discovered the importance of self-love and learned more about the kind of people and energy he wants around him.
Tyler further admitted that the show made him look back at his previous relationship with Georgina. He said he realised that they may not have been the right match and that there were signs he had ignored while they were together.
Living together also gave him a different view of Georgina's personality. He said he had previously tried to suppress some sides of her personality that he did not like, but later understood that she should be free to express herself.

He also recalled an incident during a game night when Georgina appeared unhappy about the possibility of him moving on.
