Belgut member of parliament Hon Nelson Koech now claims that he will have to resign as a member of parliament shortly after reelection of president William Ruto as the head of state and government as he (Koech) will join the president's cabinet.
Speaking during the president's tour in Kericho county today, the vocal lawmaker has claimed that he has gained enough experience while serving as Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations Committee chairman in the national assembly.
He added that such experience is what is required to run a country and therefore will join the government as he targets Defence cabinet secretary position or that of Foreign Affairs after president William Ruto is reelected.
