“Ruto, We Love You but Return Our Kibiko Land,” Ole Lenku Tells President

Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku has called on President William Ruto to help resolve the long-running dispute over the Kibiko community land.

Lenku made the appeal while addressing concerns surrounding the ownership and management of the disputed property in Kajiado County. He urged the President to intervene and help protect the interests of residents involved in the land dispute.

“Ruto, tunakupenda sana lakini turudishie shamba la KIBIKO,” Lenku said, directly appealing to the President over the contested land.

The Kibiko land dispute has remained a major issue in the area, with different groups claiming rights over the property. The disagreement has involved community leaders, residents and political figures and has led to tension over the years.

The disputed land covers about 2,800 acres and is linked to the Keekonyokie Trust. The property has been the subject of disagreements over leadership, ownership and the process of subdivision.
