“Things Are Boiling Nicely”: Pauline Njoroge’s Cheerful Take on Meru Politics

Political commentator has claimed that Kenyan voters are becoming increasingly strategic in their political dealings ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Njoroge was reacting to Deputy President ’s recent political engagement in Meru County, drawing comparisons with the recently concluded Ol Kalou by-election.

According to Njoroge, the Ol Kalou contest offered a lesson to voters, whom she said could accept financial assistance or campaign merchandise from politicians while ultimately maintaining their preferred political allegiance at the ballot.

She claimed that a similar situation unfolded during Kindiki’s engagement in Meru, alleging that some residents accepted KSh2,000 before later distancing themselves from the political messaging associated with the event.
