Wahome Makes Fun Of Kalonzo, Tells Him This On Being The Presidential Candidate For The Opposition

Political commentator Wahome Thuku has poked fun at the possibility of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka emerging as the joint presidential candidate for the opposition, questioning the logic behind such an outcome given the efforts being put in by other political figures within the coalition.

He laid out a comparison of the different leaders' current activities to make his point.

According to Thuku, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has been actively canvassing across Nairobi, while Jubilee Deputy Leader Fred Matiang'i has been holding meetings with various groups as part of his political engagements.

He also noted that Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has kept a busy schedule, with stops in Kajiado and planned visits to Kirinyaga, while former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua remains in the United States, which Thuku described as a trip focused on fundraising.

Thuku argued that despite all this visible effort and movement across different regions, opposition figures could ultimately settle on Kalonzo as their joint candidate, a man he said largely confines his public appearances to areas around Katani and Katumani in Machakos County.
